Privacy Policy
This policy describes what information ForgeFit ("the app", "we", "us") collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and how it's handled. ForgeFit is currently in closed testing and has a limited number of users.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you provide directly, what the app records as you use it, and what our service providers generate on our behalf (crash reports, AI-generated content).

How your information is used
- To provide the core features of the app: generating and tracking workouts, and showing your progress.
- To generate AI-powered workout recommendations personalized to your profile and training history.
- To estimate calories burned per workout.
- To identify, debug, and fix technical issues.
- We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the app:
- Google - for sign-in and authentication.
- Anthropic - the AI provider that generates your workout recommendations. Relevant profile and training-history data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate each workout.
- Sentry - for crash and error reporting, so we can find and fix bugs.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where your information is stored
Your account and workout data is stored on our servers. Data may be stored and processed in India and other locations where our service providers operate.
Data retention
We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it (for example, to comply with a legal obligation).
Your choices
- All profile fields beyond your name and email are optional - you can use the app without providing age, weight, health information, or any other onboarding detail, though this will limit how personalized your workouts are.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Children's privacy
ForgeFit is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
